After spending a half hour hanging out and chatting about industrial music, this guy was gonna just buy a Ministry single and head home... And then decided to buy our Butcher cover and original 13th Floor Elevators. Crazy day yesterday. Crazy weekend actually. Thanks to him and all the other customers we had all weekend.

Just had a turning into Rich Rosen moment.

A customer asked if we had any what I thought was a female vocalist named Tori Lane vinyl. Turned out it was a rapper named Tory Lanez. 🥴🥴🥴

The whole squad got stuff today at Wax Trax Records! Including rock, punk, country and for the first time ever we sold some of the K-Pop stuff we got in recently! Don't forget we added a whole shelf of that stuff. See you this weekend. 😁

Congratulations Charley-O on making it to the big 18! People ask all the time why Charley isn't at the store anymore and the answer is... He's VERY old. But he's hanging in there and hanging out at home in Rich Rosen's record room and randomly running around the house whenever he feels like it. Happy Birthday Charley!

We're not really a new release store for the most part and in the past when I got in new releases on release week from the current popular artists (Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX) I've sold maybe one or two of the four or five copies I got in of them and the rest just sit... But I could tell Madonna is back and ordered a dozen copies of her new one and we're down to just 2 left. I don't think we've ever sold 10 of the same album in one week before...
