Hi everyone,
I just wanted to thank you all so much for your kindness, generosity, and support. Your donations, shares, and thoughtful messages have truly meant the world to me — and are a testament to how loved my parents are.
After talking with my dad, Dave, he asked that I close the fundraiser and refund everyone’s donations. If you know him, you know he’s incredibly humble and not one to ask for help, even when it’s offered with so much love.
So I’ll be processing full refunds for everyone — but please know that your gesture didn’t go unnoticed. It’s meant more than I can express, and I’m so grateful for this amazing community.
Thank you again for showing up for my parents in such a beautiful way. 💛

If you’re just seeing this now — I started a GoFundMe yesterday to rally support for my dad, Dave, after a serious and unexpected accident. While out of town, he fell down a steep hill and shattered his shoulder and arm. It’s been a hellish 72 hours filled with ER visits, scans, travel back home, and now preparing for surgery.
Thankfully, they’re back home now, but the recovery ahead won’t be easy.
They didn’t know I had created it, and after learning about it, my dad kindly asked me to take it down and refund everyone’s donations.
Still, I can’t thank you enough for the outpouring of love and support.
