Looking back at 2016, I see it now.
The beginnings. The pivots. The subtle knowing that life was about to open up in ways I couldn’t yet name.

I said yes to my first campaigns, my first TV segments—and quietly, to myself.
Everything evolved after that. My style, my mindset, my sense of direction.

Except my dress size (some things don’t need fixing).

Ten years later, I know this much:

Last night at Holsteins and I’m officially obsessed.🤍
Tucked into the Arts District, the interior is adorable—fun, cozy, effortlessly cool—but the food? Next level.

I went with the Thai steak salad and it was honestly incredible: bold, fresh, perfectly balanced, the kind of salad that makes you forget you ever wanted anything fried. That said… the menu range is wild. From crudo to a burger Richard ordered that I absolutely could’ve demolished myself, everything coming out of that kitchen looked unreal.

We started with the buffalo chicken dip (do not skip this), sipped specialty cocktails, talked about how this is equally perfect for watching a game or just vibing at the bar, and then—because why not—finished with one of their boozy milkshakes. I was beyond stuffed when it arrived… still managed to drink half 🤷‍♀️ and immediately came home and jumped on my trampoline for 10 minutes 🤪

My official recommendation: go in any mood. Salad mood, burger mood, cocktail mood, sports-on-a-screen mood. Holsteins understands the assignment. 🍔🥗🍸✨

“✨ Rest is not merely a luxury; it’s an essential component of our wellness journey! 🤍 Scientific research shows that muscle growth and repair primarily occur during periods of rest, not just in our workouts. Overworking our bodies can lead to fatigue and setbacks, while recovery allows us to perform at our best.

My personal workout split often aligns with my teaching schedule, but when I find myself with a day off, I prioritize rest. If I’m fortunate enough to have two days off, I seize the opportunity to lift weights. Mixing up my workouts week to week has proven incredibly beneficial, allowing me to stay engaged and energized. Embracing this variety not only enhances my strength but also enriches my overall well-being. 🤍✨

It’s essential to listen to our own bodies and discover what truly works for us. While Instagram can inspire and spark ideas, remember that no one is a carbon copy of another.
