We're getting ready for our August signing event! Join us Saturday, August 29th from 1-4pm as we welcome Deanna Adler, Lanser Howard, and Lauren Tallman.
Read on to learn a little more about them and their books!
Las Vegas author Deanna Adler’s “Sweet Child Of Mine: How I Lost My Son to Guns N' Roses” is a gripping memoir of her personal battle to save her son Steven, the original drummer and co-founder of Guns N' Roses. The book gives an unflinching account of his crack- and heroin-fueled rise to becoming one of the founders of the legendary rock band, and his subsequent fall to drugs and alcohol.
Lanser Howard began his career as a journalist and then transitioned into film
where he wrote and produced an award-winning documentary film Fight Life among other screenplays. His sole focus now is on poetry and prose with his first full-length book of poetry The Screaming Silence released in 2020. An Oakland, California native now living in the Sacramento area, Howard travels the country selling food products by day, writer at night. He has a passion for the outdoors and escapes to the mountains or ocean every chance he gets with his wife Michelle and fearless dog Donovan, aka Bo**er. Howard’s visceral, minimalistic style paints hard-hitting portraits of the dark and the wounded and seeks to illuminate the struggles of everyday people fighting insurmountable odds. His writing has been featured on Good Day Sacramento TV, Style Magazine and other publications and various podcasts.
Las Vegas erotica author Lauren Tallman explores the depths of delight, the rush of romance, and the moments that set your imagination ablaze. Her “Harem Of The Dragon” is a titillating work of historical fiction, with sensual undertones, and one of her five published books of erotica. She is also the founder of the Erotic Writers Group of Las Vegas and an award-winning columnist, author, and podcaster.
We look forward to seeing everyone there!
