08/25 and 08/26 Player 1 Video Game Bar-Vegas Night Markets recap! I did two events this week: Pokémon Tuesday and Weeb Wednesday. It was my first time doing the Tuesday event and I was nervous on how it would go, considering I would be back the following night.
Now normally this is where I would mention how I did and the donations to the Human Rights Campaign and ACLU. However, as I'm sure many of you may know by now that the legendary singer Dolly Parton passed away on Tuesday and to say I was shocked was an understatement. I loved everything she stood for as a person and enjoyed her music whenever I came across it. It was a comfort knowing she was out there spreading joy and compassion to everyone, no matter who they are. So, right before I left for the first event, I decided to switch my usual charities to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library because it felt like the right thing to do. I didn't know exactly how I was gonna go about it though. Donating my usual $1 per item sale didn't feel right. But halfway through the Tuesday event, I finally settled on $5 per sale.
Across both nights, I sold a total of 12 items out of 22, which brought the total donation to $60 for the Imagination Library. It is all thanks to my wonderful customers from both nights who helped me make this happen. Thank you guys for such a great time at the two events. It really means a lot to me 💜

I won't be back to Player 1 next week as I have my Etsy drop to work on and of course, a massive restock of my inventory bin is needed. I have plans to be back for the next Pokémon Tuesday and Weeb Wednesday. Stay tuned for the story announcement!
