Last week’s restock went a little… rogue. 😂

SEVEN printed feed sacks and THREE seed sacks apparently decided they weren’t ready to go live, while a few other things showed up with some very creative pricing. Bless it!

These old quilt tops have already had one maker’s hands on them — but there’s still so much story left to tell.

Finish a top into a quilt. Back it in something unexpected. Turn it into pillows, a jacket, a tote, stockings, framed blocks… or cut it up and make something we haven’t even thought of yet.

Vintage Bow Tie “Snowball” Quilt, Lexington MO

Make: Hand Quilted & Hand Pieced

Dimensions:‍ 67” x 79”

SPI: 9 to 10

Condition: 4.75 Star Condition

🏷️ Asking $285.00, FREE shipping

Details: This is what we would call a lightweight quilt! The background of the quilt is white. The bow ties are set on angles, so that they create a “snowball” in the center of each block. Each block’s 4 bow ties match in fabric prints. Some of these printed fabrics are likely feed sack. The frame on all four sides is pink and so is the hand applied binding. The blocks measure 12” across. The back fabric matches in all white cotton. The back corner is signed “Lexington, MO”. There are no holes, tears, or seam pops. There is one area of faint spotting on the front — untreated. This spot/stain is the only reason for the lower rating — this is a phenomenal quilt.
