Just want to shout a big, "Thank you!" to everyone that donated to the collaboration of My Sister's Keeper [Highland Park]Non-profit and my "Ready, Set, Let's Braid!" Class. We had 10 girls [our goal] in attendance and they are off to a great start! They'll return next month with their kits to show their progress and move on to phase two of the class.
If you'd like to donate to this project simply reach out to Tanesha Windom or myself. We're still accepting donations to be able to invite a new set of girls this Spring!

DONATIONS ARE NEEDED! My "Ready, Set, Let's Braid Class" has been chosen for this phenomenal mentoring program with My Sister's Keeper (non-profit). Please help support these young ladies on their journey to learn a new skill by purchasing a kit or making a donation. All monies go toward each student receiving their own full kit. Before Summer comes to an end we will offer our "Ready, Set, Let's Braid Class". It's back and even better!

What's new? It's a 2-day Intensive so you will get lots of hands-on and one-on-one feedback. Everything you need will be provided in a full kit. Everyone who attends will receive a certificate of completion and will be added to our new Mentorship program [Fall 2023].

This class is the perfect gift for anyone ages 12-19, with or without experience. You will learn several braid techniques, sanitation, setup and more plus lunch and snacks are included.
