It is incredibly hard to predict what books people are looking for, don’t get me wrong, we have ideas of what will sell pretty quickly and things like that but then we have these which are all pretty popular books and even some amazing special editions that have been sitting on our shelves for way longer than we thought! Want to help our newest young neighbors? The International Rescue Committee in Silver Spring is looking for tutors!

🚨 Volunteers Needed – Youth Tutor Program

❓What is the Youth Tutor Program?
Volunteer tutors support multilingual, recently resettled students in grades 3–12 — fully online, one-on-one. Tutors lead structured, reading-based sessions using the RAZ Plus platform, focused primarily on English language development (ELD), with homework support as a secondary focus.

Volunteers will meet with students every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:45 – 6:00 PM.
