Today’s post is spotlighting our extensive plush selection! Be a friend and tag some of your plush loving friends in the comments to help spread the word about our opening!

One of our star employees, Jewel, said that there have not been enough pictures posted of our cute furry friends. We have many more scattered throughout the store, but here is our plush wall.

We each picked our favorites to show you. :)

Today was our 3rd day open! It was such a pleasure meeting more Laurel families. Today, we are giving you a peek at some of the areas in the shop where you can be comfortable while the kids play. We have several play spots around the store, and toys will change in each. The book shop has some chairs and a sofa for the grownups who want a cozy place to stop.
We are open tomorrow from 10-5! Come check out all we have to offer!

When I started making plans for the shop, I asked my kids and my nieces and nephews what they thought was essential. All of them told me a STAGE. They have all enjoyed playing on the stage at Barnes and Noble and other stores that have one. So, Crescent Page and Play has its own stage for performance, puppets, authors, guest speakers and FUN.

Our stage is Mississippi Made by Mississippi R & B Woodcrafters Bookshelves who also made many of our shelves in the store. :)

Over the next few days, we will give you some looks at some details of the store. Today is Sunday, so I am going to share an awesome “God wink” with you. I have mentioned before that we have purchased a lot of furniture for the store from our friends The Remnant.
The week before opening, we made one of our mid day stops at The Remnant to get some more display items and baskets. One of the lovely ladies working knew that we were shopping for our toy and book shop and asked if I liked old toys. I explained that we don’t sell them but I do love to have them for display. She said they had a little iron stove in the back with pots and utensils, and she thought I might like it.
She brought it out and it was precious, as she handed it to me to look at I realized it says “Crescent” on it. I was shocked and we all smiled about it.
Lisa graciously gifted it to us, and you will now see it on display behind the register with one of the dolls that we sell doing her cooking.
Thank you Lisa and The Remnant for such a special addition! ❤️
