We would like to welcome the 60+ followers we had since our last sale!
New to Sargey’s Tales and wondering who we are, what do we do, where do all of these books come from?
We are parents of 2 children who decided that we needed to expand our children’s book library after our first child was born! Except…I went overboard!
We found a source which sold pallets of preowned books and I convinced my wife that we should buy a pallet. We could sell what we didn’t want and keep the rest! Well, I was left unattended and purchased 3 pallets🤪!
Since that fateful day, 8 years ago, I slowly took over the garage, adding shelves, re-organizing books, adding more shelves, organizing more, created our page - named after our dog Sarge, and began having book sales in our driveway.
Through the years we have expanded our sources of books by shopping book sales, yard sales, online, buying back, and receiving donations! I work to curate a rotating collection of books that children, teachers, librarians, and home school families love, all at a reasonable price.
We try to hold sales monthly as our schedule and the weather allows. We have that much that we do need to expand into the driveway for sale days.
