My cousin shared this article and I found it very interesting! I was not a strong reader and neither were my girls when it came to the comprehension of what I read. Sure, I could read the letters, but just didn’t always remember what I read. This article gives a great perspective on how our brains develop and what effects happen when we teach our kids to read too early. Reading aloud to our kids is so important. Let them picture the story in their mind while you are reading to them.
