And there are more! Hopefully these Monarch caterpillars will continue to thrive and change in to Monarch Butterflies and journey on to Mexico for their winter vacation.

On the walk this morning I found these two Monarch caterpillars munching away on the Swamp Milkweed. This is just in one area of the farm where it is growing. So grateful to see the Monarchs are making good use of these host plants. We are a Monarch Waystation registered with Monarch Watch. Hopefully more photos to follow with more Monarch caterpillars.

A busy morning here at the farm. We delivered to Genovese Italian Restaurant and The Merc Co+op. Our Honey Jar Bouquets were once again full of Native Flowers and this week they also have some Native Seeds for you to plant. Our tomato harvest from this morning as well as sweet bell peppers were delivered to Genovese Italian Restaurant . The colors of these Native Flowers and produce items are a joy. Enjoy some flowers from The Merc Co+op and a delicious meal at Genovese Italian Restaurant

And now a Pipevine Swallowtail on the Cup Plant. The beautiful butterflies just keep on coming.

This morning the butterflies were enjoying the Cup Plant. The first photo is of a Clouded Sulphur and the second photo is of a Great Spangled Fritillary. Enjoyed knowing they were getting a good breakfast.

Our Honey Jar Bouquets will be delivered to The Merc Co+op this afternoon. There is a long list of Native Flowers in this week's bouquets. Included is Purple Coneflower, Sweet Black-Eyed Susan, Boneset, Ironweed, Mexican Hat, Blue Mist Flower, and Mexican Sunflower. And, this week there is a hand decorated Tennessee Dancing Gourd for fun! Enjoy and thanks for supporting Maggie's Farm and all the pollinators these flowers support!

This morning's harvest for our Honey Jar Bouquets was abundant with Native Flowers. They are helping to feed and support many butterflies, bees, and birds. The Sweet Black-Eyed Susans are dominating our fields now and they are so beautiful! These Honey Jar Bouquets will be available at The Merc Co+op this afternoon.
