"Almost forgot to place a review due to life being life, but happy to say my plants are doing incredible! Everything arrived well packaged, arrived incredibly quick, and was alive on arrival!" – Trashasaurus 📦

Life definitely gets in the way of tank time, so taking a minute to drop a review means a lot to our small team. Glad your plants settled in fast and are thriving!

Want to understand what actually triggers fish to spawn beyond just doing a cold water change?

This book compiles peer-reviewed studies on fish reproduction, detailing how environmental factors and diet impact livebearer breeding. 🐟 Having a copy signed by Diana Walstad makes it a neat addition to a fish room library.
Ships boxed with care so it arrives in clean condition.

"Watching a mystery snail glide along the glass and suddenly parasnail to the substrate never gets old." 🐌

Nerite snails are all business, methodically scraping algae off hardscape like a tiny lawnmower. Mystery snails, on the other hand, act like total goofballs with massive shells and long tentacles who treat the whole tank like an amusement park.

Do your mystery snails parasnail on purpose, or are they just chaos machines?

How many times have you carefully smoothed out your substrate only to blow a crater into it with the first bucket of water? 🪨

Using a simple saucer or plastic bag while pouring water keeps your slope intact and stops fine dust from clouding up the glass. It is a tiny step that makes scaping day go a whole lot smoother.
What is your go-to trick for pouring water into a fresh setup?

If you keep pea puffers or fussy carnivores, you already know the struggle of getting them to accept dry foods.

Freeze-dried tubifex and blackworms have that natural scent and texture that gets stubborn fish to strike right away. 🎈 You can feed them as cubes or break them up for smaller tetras and rasboras.

Watching a snail trail around with a chalky, pitted shell is always frustrating. 🐌
In softer water, snails struggle to pull enough minerals out of the water column to repair their trapdoors. Dosing the water helps a bit, but getting calcium directly into their food makes a world of difference for keeping shells thick and smooth.

Plus, watching three mystery snails dogpile a single pellet is just funny. 🍿
