We’ll be making some price adjustments soon.
As consumers ourselves, we completely understand that price increases are never pleasant. However, due to the rising costs of ingredients, supplies, operations, property taxes, tariffs, and many other expenses, we unfortunately need to make some changes in order to continue maintaining the same quality and freshness you’ve always enjoyed from us.
To give some perspective, here are a few examples of how costs have changed since day one for ingredients and operational expenses we personally use and pay for:
☕ Coffee costs have increased by 100%
🥛 Milk costs have increased by 50%
🏠 NNN lease costs have increased by 48%
In addition, recent tariffs and increasing customs clearance costs have pushed importing expenses to an all-time high. Since the beginning, we have chosen to import most of our ingredients directly from Taiwan in order to maintain quality and avoid additional wholesale markups within the United States.
We also want to let everyone know that once our current stock of medium size cups runs out, medium size will be removed from our menu. We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but based on customer demand and long-term sales statistics, we have decided to move forward with large size only.
We constantly study the market — not only in Kansas, but nationwide and internationally. We understand there are many ways businesses can maximize profits; however, that has never been our goal. Our priority has always been maintaining high-quality products while keeping prices as reasonable as possible for our customers.
