Next week, Magic the Gathering meets The Hobbit! We have Prerelease events on Saturday 08/08 and Sunday 08/09 at 1pm. The Novice Only event (for beginners and learners) at 12pm, Sunday 08/09. Have you ever wondered if you could take down Loki? Or maybe wished you could be Loki? Now is your chance? Check out this new 3-versus-one commander format as MTG: Presents God of Mischief! Three players will band together, with a communal life of 60, as they play simultaneously in the battle against Loki. The fourth player will have access to Loki special abilities as they fight to protect their own 60 life and take down the infidels! This event starts at 1pm on Sunday, 7/18.

Come on in and join us for Hobby Day, on Saturday, July 4th. This is a free event and paints and brushes are available to use. You can bring your own model or buy one here. It runs from 1 - 5pm. Enjoy a fun hobby and get a little social interaction buffered by the hobby. See you there!

MTG: Marvel Prerelease is this coming weekend!

We will hold three Prerelease events! Saturday will be our normal Prerelease. Sunday will have two special Prereleases, Novice and 2HG.

The 2HG Prerelease is a standard Prelease, except you will be playing in pairs. If you don't have a player to play with, we will randomly assign partners.

The Novice Prerelease will have limited seats based on experience in the game. The novice event is only for learners, children, or those with very limited exposure. If you sign up for the novice event and you are not a novice, we will move you to the 2HG prerelease.

Saturday -
Prerelease begins @ 1pm.

Sunday
Novice begins @ 12pm.
2HG begins @ 1pm.

Please register with us ASAP! Kits are $45 and seats are filling quickly.

The next Dungeons & Drags, Lawrence Pride's D&D one shot with drag performers as the DMs, will be hosted at the Dragon's Hoard on June 27th. The event will run from 11:30am to 5pm with an hour break at 2pm. This is an all ages, free to play event, but a suggested donation of $10 is appreciated. There will be a raffle with prizes handed out during the midway break.

Premade character sheets are available. If you wish to bring your own custom character sheet, it must follow these rules:

*Must be 5e 2014 (we are not doing 2024 rules because Marie hasn't learned them yet and they are sorry)
*The character must be 8th level
*Stat blocks must use standard array
*Character sheets must be complete before the event. No need to have your sheet approved. We are working on the honor system. Don't abuse this privilege .
*NO HOMEBREW!
*Tables will be organized based on character class and skill level before the event.

We will have limited seating and spots will be awarded in sign up order. You will receive an email confirming your seat at the table from [email protected]. Please notify us if you can no longer attend so that another may have your spot.

Hobby Day is this Saturday, June 6th. If you aren't at South Park celebrating with Lawrence Pride, come enjoy some climate controlled comfort and have fun painting models! Paints, brushes, and a drop cloth will be available to use, free of charge. Models are available for purchase. Feel free to bring you own model, paints, and/or friends to enjoy Hobby Day to the greatest extent!
