🚨 WARNING: LONG POST AHEAD
I wanted to take a minute to explain a few things about how my small business works and, more importantly, why I have certain policies in place.
First things first...
When I say “we” at Impressive Impressions TN, I really mean ME. 😂
There’s no big team behind the scenes. There’s no employee answering messages, another person making shirts, and someone else handling orders and pickups.
I am the “we.” 😂
And contrary to popular belief, TJ has absolutely nothing to do with Impressive Impressions. Neither do my kids. 😂 Trust me, I’ve tried MULTIPLE times to recruit some free family labor, but apparently they have all declined the position. 🤣
So when you message Impressive Impressions, you're talking to me. When your shirt gets made, I made it. When your invoice gets sent, I sent it. When your order gets packaged and put out for pickup, you guessed it... ME AGAIN. 😂
And I do all of this while also working a full time job and managing everyday life.
Because of that, I have to have policies in place that protect both my time and my small business.
💰 PAYMENT IS REQUIRED UP FRONT
Your order is not started until payment has been received.
If I send an invoice and it is not paid, I do not purchase supplies or begin making your order.
This isn't because I don't trust my customers. It's simply because as a small business, I don't have the luxury of absorbing the cost of shirts, prints, supplies, ink, materials, or my time when an order isn't paid for or picked up.
👕 ALL SHIRTS ARE MADE TO ORDER
What does “made to order” mean?
It means I don't have racks of finished shirts sitting around waiting to be purchased. Your shirt is specifically made after you place your order and pay.
Depending on your order, I may have to purchase the specific shirt color and size you requested, prepare or order your print, and then make your shirt specifically for YOU.
That is also why payment is required before I begin.
💲 MY PRICES ARE MY PRICES
I try to be very transparent about my pricing. Whenever possible, I post my prices right along with the items I'm offering so you know what something costs before you ever message me.
My prices are based on the cost of the shirt, materials, printing supplies, equipment, and the time it takes me to create your order.
I absolutely appreciate everyone wanting to get the best deal possible, but my prices are not negotiable.
I do offer bulk order pricing for qualifying larger orders, and I'm always happy to give you a bulk quote when applicable. However, individual order prices cannot be negotiated.
Please remember that when you purchase from a small business, you're not just paying for a blank shirt. You're paying for the materials, equipment, supplies, time, and work that go into creating your finished product.
I work hard to keep my prices affordable while also making sure running this business makes financial sense.
📲 PLEASE WATCH YOUR MESSAGES
Once your order is completed, I will message you and provide pickup instructions.
Please make sure you're checking your messages after placing an order. Sometimes I am waiting on customers to respond with information I need to complete an order, and other times I'm simply trying to let you know that your order is ready!
🛍️ PLEASE PICK UP YOUR ORDERS IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME
Right now, I have around a dozen completed shirts that have been sitting for weeks waiting to be picked up.
And yes, they're paid for!
While I appreciate that the orders are paid, completed orders still take up space. When several orders sit for weeks at a time, it becomes difficult to organize new orders and keep my pickup area manageable.
This is actually one of the biggest reasons I require payment up front. If people sometimes don't pick up items they've already paid for, I simply cannot take the financial risk of making custom items that haven't been paid for.

Every order placed with Impressive Impressions TN supports a very small, local business run by one person who is doing her best to provide quality products at affordable prices.
My policies aren't meant to make ordering difficult. They're what allow me to continue doing this without losing money, supplies, space, or hours of my time.

💙 Pay your invoice so I can begin your order.
💙 Understand that my posted prices are firm.
💙 Ask about bulk pricing when you're ordering in quantity.
💙 Keep an eye on your messages.
💙 Pick up your completed order within a reasonable timeframe.
