✨ A Little October Update from The Mystical Sloth ✨

As we move into this season of change, I just want to take a moment to say how incredibly thankful I am for every single person who has walked through our doors, supported this little dream, shared kind words, purchased something special, or simply brought beautiful energy into this space. 🖤✨

This week, we will be CLOSED Thursday.

Next week, we will be OPEN:

The following week, we will also be OPEN:

✨ Friday
✨ Saturday

Our hours will remain the same — we’ll just be open fewer days as we begin preparing for this next chapter.

The LAST WEEK of October, the shop will be closed while we pack everything up and get things ready to transition.

Then, the LAST WEEKEND of October, we will be having a YARD SALE for the shop shelves and tables. 🖤

If you need anything and can’t make it during one of our regular open days, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can call or message me, and as long as I’m not working my other job, I’ll be happy to meet you at the shop even outside of our regular hours.

And even after the physical shop closes, please NEVER hesitate to reach out to me on my phone if there is something you already know you want or need. I would still be more than happy to take care of my local customers. 🖤 One of the beautiful things about moving away from a physical storefront is that I won’t have the same overhead, so prices will be going down too!

The Mystical Sloth may be changing, but we are definitely not disappearing. We’ll be selling on Vinted and Whatnot, doing some live shows, and we may even continue doing some things right here on this page. I’m still figuring out exactly what direction this next chapter is going to take, and that’s okay. Sometimes the path reveals itself one step at a time. 🌙✨

As soon as I know exactly where this journey is leading, y’all will know too. I hope you’ll stick around and continue being part of it with me.

This isn’t goodbye — it’s simply a shift, a new season, and a new way of continuing something I love. Sometimes we are called to release what no longer fits so we can make room for what is meant for us next.

✨ SHOP FIXTURES & FURNITURE FOR SALE! ✨

I also wanted to let everyone know that the last week of October, most of the tables, shelves, and furniture in The Mystical Sloth will be going up for sale. 🖤

If there’s something you’ve had your eye on while shopping here, you’re welcome to come check it out!

I have LOTS of pieces available, including some really nice and unique pieces, antique pieces, large shelving units, tables, and more. Pretty much any shelf that has merchandise on it and most of the tables will be for sale.

There are a few things I’m keeping for myself — my long bench for my back porch, possibly another chair for my porch, the two pieces at my desk that I’m planning to use in my kitchen, and a couple of tables. Everything else will be available.

If you’re interested in something, you’ll need to contact me and set up a time to come down to the shop to look at it. If I’m not there, one of my employees can video call me or take pictures/video of the piece so I can give you a price.

If you find something you want, you can go ahead and pay for it ahead of time to make sure it’s yours. Then, during the last week of October, when I’m taking everything down and clearing out the shop, you can come pick it up.

I have some really big shelves and some beautiful pieces, so if you’ve ever looked around the shop and thought, “I wish I could take that home,” now might be your chance. 🖤✨

Please keep in mind that if you purchase something and don’t come pick it up during the agreed-upon pickup time, I will eventually be putting those items on Facebook Marketplace to sell.

📢 ATTENTION VENDORS

If you are currently or were recently a vendor at my shop, please make sure you reach out to me by the end of October so we can get your items picked up and get everything squared away.

I don’t have everyone’s phone number or contact information, so please don’t wait for me to reach out to you. I want to make sure everyone gets their items and any outstanding balances are taken care of.

If I haven’t heard from you by the end of October, your remaining items will be going home with me. I will do my very best to keep everything separated and organized in its own box, but I cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to contact everyone individually.

💜 With a very heavy heart, I have some news to share about The Mystical Sloth. 💜

After a lot of thought, prayer, tears, and listening to what my heart has been telling me, I’ve made the difficult decision that our little shop will be closing its physical doors sometime between now and November.

This is not a decision I made lightly. The Mystical Sloth has been so much more than a store to me. It has been a dream, a safe space, a place of connection, healing, laughter, learning, and so many beautiful memories. It has brought incredible people into my life, and for that, I will always be grateful. 🥹✨

I also want to be completely transparent with all of you. For a while now, the shop has been going backwards financially. As much as I love this space and everything it represents, I can no longer justify continuing to pay the overhead when the business simply cannot sustain it.

But I don’t believe this is the end of The Mystical Sloth. ❤️

Sometimes the universe closes one door because it’s making room for us to walk through another.

Instead of continuing to pour money into a physical space we can no longer afford, I’ve decided to take The Mystical Sloth online. 🌙🔮✨

This isn’t goodbye. It’s a transformation.

The crystals, the magic, the spiritual treasures, the weird and wonderful things you’ve come to love, and most importantly, the heart behind The Mystical Sloth will still be here. We’ll just be bringing it to you in a different way.

I know this may be sad news for some of you, and believe me, it is emotional for me too. There are so many memories wrapped up in those four walls that I will carry with me forever.

Thank you to every single person who has walked through our doors, supported us, purchased something, shared a post, brought a friend, sat and talked with us, or simply believed in this little dream. You have been a part of The Mystical Sloth’s story, and I am incredibly grateful. 🦋

For now, we are still here, and I’ll be sharing more details as we figure out our closing timeline, but we are looking at end of October or November. Then we will be transitioning online. So if you need Christmas this would be the time. So please keep following along, because this isn’t the end of our journey together.

Sometimes we have to release what we built in order to make room for what we’re meant to become.
