Do you have a child, grandchild, niece, or nephew who loves fun books and colorful characters? 📚

Then make plans to stop by The Kentucky Bookstore on Saturday, June 27, because we’re excited to welcome Kentucky children’s author Robert Ernest for a special book signing from 11 AM to 2 PM!

Robert is the creator of the Chilly Wonton W***y series, a fun collection of children’s books filled with adventure, imagination, friendship, and plenty of laughs. With colorful illustrations and playful stories, these books have become favorites with young readers and make wonderful gifts for the children in your life.

But here’s the thing… Robert is just as enjoyable as his books.

If you’ve ever met him, you know exactly what I mean. He is one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever have the chance to talk with. He loves visiting with readers, sharing stories, and talking about the importance of reading with children. Whether you’re looking for a signed book or simply want to stop in and say hello, I know you’ll enjoy meeting him.

So come spend a little time with us, meet a Kentucky author, browse some wonderful children’s books, and help us support local authors and local bookstores.

The Bluegrass Bookstore Crawl will RETURN on November 6th and 7th for a Holiday Hop edition of the popular event.

But first, we're inviting YOU to help us create a logo for the event! As the Bluegrass Bookstore Crawl continues to grow, we're looking for a fun and engaging logo that will be used via print and digital marketing channels for event marketing and may also be incorporated into event merch. We are accepting design submissions from any interested book-lover. The creator of the winning design will receive a $25 gift card to each of the 8 participating bookstores!
