Completed my first mailbox 📪 today. When someone blesses your life by lending a helping hand at your daughter’s wedding, you pay it forward without expecting anything in return. They will never know how deeply I appreciate their kindness. I forgot to take a picture of the front once I finished it 🤦‍♀️

✨ The first 4-panel lantern is complete! ✨

All of the pieces were laser cut, including the 4 sides, the base, and the 2 pieces that make up the top portion. It’s made from 3mm basswood plywood and finished with Early American stain.

So far, I’m really happy with how it’s turning out! 😊

Next up: creating the inserts and seeing how everything comes together. That’s always the exciting part when a design starts looking like the finished product!
