Just finishing up a sample of a quick and easy New York Beauty. The book is by one of my long time favorites, Cheryl Phillips of Phillips fiber arts. It's easier than piecing traditional set-in-points yet it preserves the elegance of the New York Beauty Block. The 2 shaped acrylic templates or included in the book. Good Morning, Just in case you might be thinking about starting a new hobby you might want to visit my website. Look under CLASSES and see if there is anything that catches your interest. You will see a wide variety of offerings and if you stop by the store you can see examples of everything. I have not posted possible days and times as I dont know when you are free. Good Morning on this SNOWY valentines day. Who would of thought we would get snow today. Oh well, it makes you want to stay in and sew. I am making a fabric mailbox today for the store. Drop by and check it out. 😀

Feels like we are going to have a hot start to the first day of summer. Time to get started on some cool sewing projects. Believe it or not a new shipment of Christmas is scheduled to come in today. Its never to early to start sewing for the holidays. Look forward to seeing you soon.

We appreciate the feedback about our new May showtime venue. Although we were surprised by the unexpected rain, the moderate heat made it all worthwhile. It was wonderful to get to visit with many of you I havent seen in a while.

I can't thank you all enough for making our Quilt Show such a success. I know that many of you were able to attend and purchase quilt and raffle basket tickets. All proceeds go into our scholarship fund. Here are the winners: Paula Mulligan won our guild quilt. Sandie Williamson, Yvonne Niessen, Deb Kvaka, Cheryl Seidner, Linda Ingles and Christin Coscia won raffle baskets. If you were not presnt to pick up your basket they are waiting here for you at the shop. If you were not present to pick up your quilt at the end of the show they are safe and waiting for you at the shop whenever you are making a trip this way. Everyone seemed to agree that May is a better time for our show, we listened and will plan it again for the last week in May next year. Award Winners were as follows:
