So excited. Yesterday’s pop-up shop was rained out but God still provided a way. I sold out of 95% of my prepared cakes. Today’s Pop up shop will have no Bundts, because I ran out of cake boxes last night. But I will have cake loaves available. Also, my sweet daughter Olivia of will be joining me to show her crochet cuties. Come join us! My entrepreneurial son will be there to sell lemonade. It’s a family affair so come say hi!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Today’s lemonade stand was a success. My kids met their goal of $225 and even had $13 extra to split between them. I swear I’m not just being lazy. I actually think my cakes are perfect naked—without icing. Oooh! And if you nuke a slice for 8 to 10 seconds, it tastes like it’s fresh out of the oven. It’s even better when your cake is delivered still warm—fresh from the oven. You really should try one. Message me to plan your next order.

Showing love and kindness. That’s how I want to run my baking business. And I have a loyal customer who I wish to bless.

I recently asked how her son was doing. She opened up to me and shared a bit more of her story. Her story is one that starts with tragedy in Mexico. She lost her husband and is now a young widow with four children.

She works as a nurse and is making a better life for her family here in the U.S. but she has an upcoming expense that she doesn’t know how to meet. It’s an expense related to her journey toward citizenship.

I don’t know all the details but it is related to medical records being brought over to the U.S. At $500 per person in her family of five, that is a $2500 expense due by June 6th.

I will donate a portion of proceeds for the month of May to her. It will take a miracle to get her to her goal, but if you feel led to help out my customer, please do.
