Jake Allard. First prize in my category, wow! Thank you very much to the Judges on the panel of the World Melodia Championship Music Competition 🎼
This really means a lot to me, considering all the other incredibly talented Composers who were nominated as well 🎵
"Neo Capriccio (Movement 1)" is a short piece, but one that encompasses everything I love about Classical Style music. Coincidentally, it is the only string duet I have ever written.
Still, however, my Piano influence makes itself clear. Perhaps it gave it a distinct sound.
I utilized "Alberti bass", key changes, chromatic harmonized fills, and, mostly focused on flow and interconnecting the different sections.
If you enjoy that style of Instrumental Violin caprices, I recommend checking it out.
I also want to thank my Mother, who gave some helpful critiques of my first draft. Those small tweaks, I believe, really helped solidify this as a body of work that I enjoy listening to, and I hope you do too.

Egypt’s world-famous pyramids are generally accepted as the work of ancient peoples with the technology available to them at the time. However, some skeptics point to the positioning of the Pyramids of Giza as evidence of alien involvement.

According to a blog post from Michigan State University, the pyramids line up exactly with the Orion constellation, involving a level of precision unusual for human artisans:

[Look at a] birds-eye-view of the pyramids with a picture of Orion’s belt transposed on top. Clearly, it is evident that the three stars in the middle of the Orion constellation, diagonally but with one star deviating, and three pyramids, also with one deviating from the diagonal, and the relative positions of stars and pyramids match each other perfectly. Even the brightness of the stars matches the size of the pyramids.
