Two days left in the King of the Hill food drive competition!

Every non-perishable item donated at an LHISD campus through Thursday, Oct. 1 counts toward the high school competition, and the winning school takes home a $3,000 award from the LHISD Education Foundation!

Here's the fun part: it's about the number of items, not the weight. A box of pasta counts just like a can of beans, so every single item helps your school and puts a meal on a neighbor's table.

Students, staff, families, and community members can drop off at any LHISD campus during normal school hours. Giving continues through Oct. 9, and everything collected comes home to .

It's Best of Liberty Hill season!

Operation Liberty Hill has been nominated in THREE categories this year: Best Thrift Store, Best Nonprofit, and Best Community Organization. If you've shopped with us, volunteered with us, or just believe in what this community does for its neighbors, we'd be grateful for your vote.

The Panthers and Wranglers face off for the first time ever on October 2 at Panther Stadium, and Liberty Hill ISD is turning it into a chance to help our neighbors.

From September 28 through October 9, every LHISD campus is collecting non-perishable food (cans and boxes welcome, no jars please) for the King of the Hill food drive, with everything donated coming home to Operation Liberty Hill.

Want to show your team spirit too? King of the Hill t-shirts are on sale online through September 20, with $5 of every shirt coming back to families right here in Liberty Hill.

Operation Liberty Hill is growing our team! We've still got a part-time role open now, starting at $14.00/hour.

Position: Saturday Thrift Store Lead
Hours: Saturday from 9:30am–3:30pm

You'll open our doors at 10:00am, lead the Saturday team, and help keep donations moving from drop-off to the sales floor. You'll support the cashier, guide volunteers through the day's tasks, and close out the register at the end of the shift.

We're looking for someone who is punctual, comfortable delegating, and detail-oriented. Background check required. To apply, just email your resume to [email protected].

Join us Saturday, August 8 from 1:30–2:30pm for a free CPR, AED & First Aid workshop, led by certified medical professionals and EMTs with Travis County Health for Humanity. No registration required, just show up ready to learn a skill that could save a life.

You'll walk away understanding how an AED works, the basics of CPR and first aid, and how to respond confidently in common emergency scenarios, with real-life demonstrations along the way.

Operation Liberty Hill is growing our team! We've got two part-time roles open now, both starting at $14.00/hour.

Back of House Food Pantry Coordinator
Mon, Wed, Fri: 8:00am–2:00pm | Tue, Thu: 11:00am–3:00pm

Help keep our pantry running so neighbors can count on us for a stocked shelf and a warm welcome. You'll manage inventory, keep the pantry, shed, and walk-ins organized and safe, and work closely with our Food Pantry Manager.

What we're looking for: someone organized, detail-oriented, and dependable, able to lift up to 30 lbs and comfortable being on your feet. Background check required.

Thrift Store Lead – Saturdays

If your Liberty Hill ISD, Bertram, or Briggs student qualifies (free/reduced lunch, SNAP, Medicaid/CHIP, military/veteran family, or a parent on disability, just one is enough), don't wait until the last minute. Registration closes Sunday, July 26.

One week left to help local kids start the school year ready.

Operation Back to School provides backpacks, shoes, and supplies to kids in Liberty Hill ISD, Bertram, and Briggs, but we're still short on donations. If your business can help, now's the time. Here's what's needed:

• Backpacks
• New athletic shoes (various sizes)
• 1" 3-ring binders
• Spiral notebooks
• Marble composition books
• Construction paper
• Loose leaf notebook paper
• Expo dry erase markers
• Crayola washable markers
• Crayola crayons
• Plastic 3-brad folders w/pockets
• Yellow highlighter pens
• Mechanical pencils
• Glue sticks
