I didn't think much of it when I took the order, but seeing them altogether was neat. Mourning Dove to Robin, same size. Robin to Red -Winged Blackbird, similar colors. Red-Winged Blackbird to Baltimore Oriole, similar markings, Baltimore Oriole to Black Capped Chickadee same solid color which was also similar to Mourning Dove. Full Circle. Such different birds, such a beautiful complimentary collection!

New House Swallow eggs! These are being sent off to California to be used as decoy to help prevent a mamá from laying more eggs. Extra sets are headed into the shop.
(This is a fairly common use for Oak Grove eggs, especially with Turkey and finch. Need something for your bird, DM me!)

Matchy matchy! The kids' dad found this abandoned nest with whole eggs in it (in the frame of his truck 😣). He salvaged it for me for photos and color matching but unfortunately, some little critter got the eggs before I got my shot. Luckily, they left enough shell for me to show how well my Robin eggs match the real deal 😁

New Snowy Plover eggs in the shop now. These were made for an organization in Oregon using their salvaged eggs as a guide. I'm always honored to be part of education that leads to conservation!

About as real as a bird egg can look! Expertly crafted and painted. They are currently sitting in a real bird nest donated from a neighbor's tree that is now part of my bird house and related objects collection. Very happy with this product.

Nesting material collections! I often use these materials, along with "found on the ground" abandoned nests, to create my photos. So I thought, why not offer these to other collectors and educators who enjoy creating the perfect displays?!
