MONDAYS ARE FOR MAKING THINGS BETTER 💕☕️

We’re starting our morning by delivering all of your Mondays Made Better orders to our amazing teachers and school staff! We hope every drink and sweet treat adds a little extra JOY to your Monday—you deserve it!

Then it’s back to Covéll to prepare for the week ahead: processing fresh flowers, prepping bakery treats, restocking, cleaning and getting everything ready to welcome you through our doors tomorrow!

Talk about a day NOT going the way it was supposed to… 😂

I fed the baby and headed straight to the shop to get started on all of our Mondays Made Better💕 orders. I got every label typed, printed, and put on the cans and by the time I finished… it was time to feed the baby again. 😂

So I ran home, fed him, headed BACK to the shop, cranked up the Frey and thought, “Okay. NOW we’re getting somewhere.”

The espresso machine had other plans.

I quickly realized she was no HOT like she should be. 🙃

No big deal. I’m pretty good at pivoting. Plan B: pull Old Faithful out of the storage closet and keep moving.

Exceptttttt… I forgot we recently consolidated our storage area, which means that closet is currently packed within an inch of its life. 😂 So before I could even GET to Old Faithful, I had to pull half the closet out.

Got her out. Got her hooked up. Waited for her to heat up. FINALLY found my rhythm.

And somewhere along the way, a job that should have taken me about two hours turned into FIVE.

I really hate when things just can’t be easy when they’re SUPPOSED to be easy. 😂 I always try to find the lesson in things, and apparently today’s lesson was patience.

Again.

Because clearly I haven’t mastered that one yet. 😂

I’m pretty good at pivoting—I have to do it around here more often than I’d like—but today tested me.

So here’s me, with half of your Mondays Made Better orders lined up on the counter, calling it a night and reminding myself that even when the day doesn’t go according to plan… we still got it done. 💕

And I’ll see all of you in the morning. ☕️🤍

What a week! WHAT a GOOD week!! 🥹💕

I’m still in awe that you sold us out of our allergy-friendly Macs on their VERY FIRST DAY!! I was hopeful you guys would be excited about them, but apparently I underestimated you. 😂 Looks like I need to get to work on some more flavors!!

It’s been so wonderful making all these macarons since the baby and I returned to the shop. There’s something about being back in the kitchen, creating new flavors, piping shells and watching an idea actually turn into something you guys get excited about.

It’s really what I’m good at. 🥹

And after a season of trying to do all the things, it feels really, really good to lean into the things I love and the things I know I can do well.

Thank you for showing up this week. For buying the macarons, grabbing the cinnamon rolls before we could keep them on the shelves 😂, ordering your coffee, picking up flowers, shopping small and just continuing to love on this little shop of ours.

I’m heading into the weekend feeling really grateful… and maybe with a few ideas rolling around in my head. 👀

Because who knows… maybe some really cool stuff is in store for Covéll macarons.

Buttttt we’re gonna put a pin in that one for now. 😉🤫🍨

The doors are open, the coffee is flowing and this is your FINAL Cinnamon Roll day of the week!

The bakery case is filled with macarons, Câk-ies and treats for your weekend, while the shop is stocked with new fall gifts, sugar scrubs and bath teas. Come grab a little something for yourself—or pretend you’re shopping for someone else. We won’t tell. 😂

Our signature macaron shell filled with creamy caramel buttercream and a gooey apple pie center. 🍎✨ Sweet, buttery, caramel-y, with just the right little pop of apple in the middle.

We know how frustrating it can be to walk into a bakery and feel like there’s nothing in the case for you. So I took extra precautions with this batch—carefully checking ingredients, thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing our workspace, equipment and utensils, and doing everything I reasonably could to minimize the risk of cross-contact.

A very important note: Covéll is NOT a certified allergen-free kitchen. We regularly work with gluten, dairy and other allergens, so cross-contact is still possible. Please use your own judgment based on your individual allergy or sensitivity level. 🤍

These will also be clearly marked and kept on their own dedicated display tray.
