This is not a in-store product post, however, it's a good read🖤

Downtown shops and boutiques are a critical part of a city. Those shops are what drives sales in the towns' housing market. We are what makes the city "quaint". We keep our shops decorated, loved and clean. We know our customers (friends), we are happy to see them, we welcome them. It IS easier to sit at home and click, click, click and order and then wait a few days to get items. But there is something special about going in, talking with people, trying things on, seeing them in person and having an experience.

Shop owners themselves make strong bonds with each other. Although, most of our downtown is very diverse in what we carry, we can bounce ideas off of each other and discuss "what's the best for ALL merchants". Many of us keep that in the forefront of our minds. We want each other to succeed, as THAT is what makes a vibrant downtown.

I find myself in a situation. I had ideas swirling in my head and of course, ran to google to see what others came up with - what's out there, what works?!?! And I found NOTHING. So, I reached out to my fellow business owner, one of the core members of our downtown community, to help me. I explained the situation, I sent scribbled notes, I said "I need help, and I need these like yesterday". And they delivered on my ideas as fast as they could.

Now, I'm lucky to be able to call Kim, Jenna and Nick, friends, but they are literal pillars of downtown and keeping all the behind-the-scenes things working. They don't ask for recognition or thanks, but they DESERVE to be recognized for ALL their hard work. Kim does ALL the planning for the downtown events, all the designing, all the printing, all the door to doors of delivering. Its the responsibility of a part time job, and she is doing it for free for the GOOD OF DOWNTOWN LEBANON. They ARE one of those shops I just described - they know your name, they take your ideas and elevate them, they hear your stories, the background to what you're creating and they feel right along with you - the pride, the sorrow, the excitement...

So, please, keep all of this in mind, when you shop local, all that you are helping. Your money to small businesses KEEPS the small businesses here in this town. And when you find yourself in a situation needing printing, designing, personalization, remember The BrickHouse On Broadway for your needs.

Now, look at how awesome these turned out. This cant me a pre-made, plastic, generic, j***y item - as they are going outside on posts.
