Jack's Guitarcheology is a Nashville, TN area purveyor of weirdo and specialty guitars, vintage to modern. My name is Jack and I am a guitarcheologist with an affinity for all things funky and drenched in mojo. Take a peak into my world -- check out on Instagram or www.jacksguitarcheology.com. As of January 2022, you can visit me at my store on the square in Lebanon, TN! In my

guitarcheological digs, I specifically seek out dimestore guitars from yesteryear: Silvertone, Teisco, Kay, Hondo, Harmony, Conrad, Kent, Kingston, Kawai, Aria, Truetone, Airline, National, Maxitone, Valco and Danelectro...just to name a few. I also specialize in top-notch partscasters, intriguing pieces of playable art, bizarre (and admittedly obnoxious) noise makers, vintage obscure guitar parts that you absolutely have to have and my signature goldfoil pickup-equipped vintage acoustic guitars. Every guitar in my shop gets the following: A good clean and polish, rosewood fingerboards get lemon oil treatment, a professional set up for smooth playing action, new strings and finger ease, repair and restorations as needed and electrics get the electronics cleaned and conditioned with contact cleaner. I will never sell guitars that are unplayable unless they are clearly marked as "non-functioning" and those items will be sold "as described." I am diligent about being as open and honest as possible in my descriptions. If you have any complaints or questions, I am a reasonable & friendly (and not to mention humble) guy and would be happy to help.

Just wanted to throw this out there - we've got a killer Marshall half stack in the shop right now! I REALLY do not want to ship this thing and would love for a local to take it home.

We don't usually deal in huge amps (and still don't plan to!), but this came in on consignment from the family of a customer who passed away, and we wanted to help them out.

Come into the shop after 5 or on the weekend to play it as loud as you want. Or any other time at a reasonable volume to be kind to our upstairs neighbors.

2004 1987X head with a master volume mod, and a 2002 1960AV 4x12 cab with standard Marshall "Vintage by Celestion" speakers. The head comes with a road case! $2995 for the set.

Rock the Block is still on tomorrow, but the concert will be inside the Capitol Theatre!

🚨UPDATE FOR ROCK THE BLOCK • MAY 22 🚨

After consulting with the LPD, EMS, our audio production company, and the National Weather Service, we’ve made the decision to move the concert portion of Rock the Block indoors to the historic Capitol Theatre due to the chance of rain tomorrow during both the event setup period and the concert itself.

As much as we love a downtown street concert: crowds, water, electricity, and live sound equipment don’t make the best combination, so we’re pivoting the best we can to keep everyone safe while still making it a fun night downtown!

✅ GOOD NEWS: We are STILL doing everything else we had planned!
🍔 Food trucks opening at 5PM
🎨 Free facepainting 6-8PM sponsored by Pediatric Dentistry of Lebanon
📸 Photo booth
💵 Giving away $1,000 in Downtown Dollars
🎁 End of concert giveaways
🎶 Live music at 6:30pm

Here’s the Rock the Block schedule for the evening:
📍 Capitol Theatre, 110 W Main Street
🕠 Food trucks open at 5:30 PM: Food trucks will be in the Capitol Theatre parking lot and out front of the theater.
💵 At 6PM, we’ll begin giving out $10 Downtown Dollar vouchers to the first 100 attendees - that’s $10 to spend at 30+ participating businesses through June. Visit the Historic Lebanon Main Street booth near the entrance to the Capitol Theatre to pick yours up!
🎶 Kendra Remedios takes the stage at 6:25 PM for a 90-minute concert inside the Capitol Theatre.
🎁 At 8PM when the concert concludes, we will be giving away $225 worth of prizes to attendees who check in at the Historic Lebanon Main Street information booth.

And if the rain isn’t too heavy, we hope you’ll still stroll around downtown, explore local businesses, grab dinner, shop, and use those Downtown Dollars to support the heart of Lebanon. ❤️

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post so everyone knows about the updated plans. We appreciate your flexibility and can’t wait to kick off Rock the Block with you tomorrow night!

Thanks to all the sponsors who have made this series possible!

My seventeen year-old band (that we started when I was seventeen) did a reunion show tonight.

I have been in a lot of bands over the years and I love them all for different reasons, but the times I have felt most alive playing music were with Uncle Skunkle. ❤️
