🍫❤️ THE WERTZ TRADITION CONTINUES… AND TODAY IS A SPECIAL ONE! ❤️🍫

There’s something pretty special happening inside Wertz Candies today.

We have the lovely and famous Jean Wertz Zaun back in the building, sharing her knowledge, her experience, and a little bit of that old-school Wertz magic with us. 🍬✨

Miss Jean is working alongside Missy and Emily, teaching them some of the traditional candy-coating techniques and helping us bring some of those wonderful old-school Wertz recipes back to the shelves.

And when we say Jean knows Wertz Candies… she KNOWS Wertz Candies. ❤️

Many people may not realize just how much history she carries with her. Years ago, Jean helped take Wertz Candies beyond Lebanon and into the national spotlight, with appearances and creations connected to shows like Dirty Jobs, along with incredible chocolate paintings made for people like Al Roker and Ozzy Osbourne—and the list goes on!

To have her back here, standing in the same candy shop, passing that knowledge on to another generation is something we don't take for granted.

Because moving Wertz forward doesn't mean leaving the past behind.

It means learning from it. Honoring it. Preserving it. And bringing the traditions and recipes that made Wertz special back to life. ❤️

Nearly 95 years of candy making doesn't happen by accident. It happens because knowledge gets passed down, recipes are protected, and people care enough to keep the tradition alive.

At Wertz Candies, we’re getting back to the true, original recipes created by the Wertz family themselves — the recipes that helped build this little candy shop into a Lebanon tradition since 1931. 🍫🍬

No reinventing what never needed reinvented. Just good, old-fashioned candy made the way it was meant to be made — with quality ingredients, time, care, and tradition. ❤️

🍎📚 BACK TO SCHOOL, BACK TO ROUTINE… AND SWEETER DAYS AHEAD! 🍿🍫

There’s something about this time of year. The temperatures start to drop, school is back in session, routines return, family dinners make their way back to the table, movie nights feel a little cozier, and before we know it…the sun starts setting just a little earlier. 🍂
