Hello,
Here is a chance for me to hopefully reach different and larger audience to show off my work. I am trying for a couple of thousand likes this year, gain more , and different recognition , make some sales and rid the world of another starving Artist
I hope you like this. If I can be of service creating either stump carvings at your site of a custom carving for a special reason please let me

know.

1990 was a time of big change ,the end of an era and the beginning of my career as an artist. After almost 30 years in the woods in various and many jobs I can tell you, chainsaw carving, is a bit different from any other use of a saw and took a bit of getting use to . Anyway I finally sold a piece and I was a carver. I had an open air sales lot on Hwy 126, people were going by and 65 mph then I moved to a small shop in Cushman, Or. A year or two later I took over Capt. Jacks a notorious and infamous haunted house on Bray's Point south of Yachats . A couple of year later I met Darcy a wonderful woman who owned the Twin Lakes store 5 miles north of Florence and opened a shop there and stayed there for about 10 years or so Hwy 101. Now I am in beautiful Lebanon Oregon and I have a small shop on Hwy 20 on the east side ,just as you are leaving town. Call or stop by if you see the 9 foot tall Bigfoot as you go by. My work has been shown in many galleries The Wood Gallery in Newport .Sticks and Stones in Estes Park Colorado , Mariah Creations in Albuquerque New Mexico . also in Jackson Wyo. Colorado Nevada and California. I used to have a map of most of the countries where I have sent work as its such an honor that people would go to such effort to enjoy my work forever. Almost every country in Europe and Eastern Europe. Several in Asia , China and Japan . 3 in Africa , more in Australia and New Zealand. It is my job to make people smile. Sculpture generally causes some reaction so I get to smile too. With care the carvings could last lifetimes or go into the garden for a decade or so. Thanks
Patrick Flanagan

Here are a few of the carvings that I moved down to the Drift Inn in Yachats.
Yachat is where I lived when I started carving back in 1990 and I always had kind of a special feeling towards the Drift Inn so I am just very happy to be there and I’ll be bringing a few more carvings down this next week as they’re giving me a lot of space and they have a lot of space I don’t know how many

outdoor sitting areas they have the bed-and-breakfast, the hardware store, which was really handy mounting some of these carvings
So if you get a chance, heading down the coast stop in for a great meal beautiful scenery right on the water and you can go home with a wooden sea captain or Bigfoot or even a mushroom thank you
