Okay… this is a really exciting update. 😭🎉

PinDrop has officially been approved by Apple and should be showing up in the App Store at any time now! 🍎📍 - (edit.. within 24 hours from 11am today - lol)

I still can’t believe I’m finally saying that!!!! The pictures attached show some of the features that are already built into the app, including: the Map, where you can see what’s happening around you and filter by distance, date, and event type - the Create Event flow, where you can add the basic info, location, schedule, features, and photos - and the locations can narrow down to the exact spot in the parking lot, you can search for the address or venue and place the event pin where you drag the map! The schedule screen, where you can add multiple dates, ongoing events, and overnight events - My Hub is where you can keep up with your own events, favorites, ratings, and other activities like the Manage Your Events area, where you can see what’s live, still a draft, ended, or has an issue and the Premium section, which gives people who post events regularly more flexibility with dates and recurring events (in case you have a reoccurring event) - And of course, there’s the PinDrop home screen that I have probably stared at about 400,000 times while building this thing. 😂

Now that Apple has approved it, I’m going to start preloading as many local events as I can find so there’s plenty to see when people start downloading it. And once you have the app, feel free to add events too! Yard sales, school events, fundraisers, food trucks, markets, sports, community events, seasonal stuff — if something is happening locally, I want people to be able to find it. Did I mention this app is FREE??!! You can find events and add events for FREE!!!!

This is a HUGE step and I am ridiculously excited to finally get PinDrop out into the world. Android is on the way too — Google still has me finishing out their required testing period that I already completed but I didnt log it right.. (newbie here!!), but it’s coming!

So for my Apple people… Keep an eye on the App Store. PinDrop is almost there. 🍎📍🎉
