One of the goals behind The Spotted Pelican has always been to create more than just a cute place to shop. We want to create a place that supports the people in our community, too.
We know how hard it can be to balance motherhood, school, work, family, appointments, childcare and just LIFE — especially when traditional jobs don’t always leave much room for real life to happen.
That’s why we strive to offer easy-going, flexible employment opportunities for working moms, students, parents continuing their education, and people who simply need a job that can work with their life instead of against it.
Need fewer hours? Have a changing school schedule? Juggling kids and childcare? Looking for per diem work that gives you a little more flexibility? As a mother of 3 who truly started from the bottom, building a photography business that then allowed me to open a second dream, this store, We get it. 🫶🏼
The Spotted Pelican is a small business built within this community, and as we grow, we want that growth to create opportunities for the people around us.
Right now, we’re looking for part-time + per diem help to join our little Pelican family. 🐚🩵
