There are soooo many things I wish I could tell beginner me! When I first started, I didn’t know anyone else who was a small business owner. I felt lost and confused and was honestly second guessing myself with every step I took.

But now that I’ve been at it for two and a half years, I see how much trying things teaches you. I get so excited doing things the second time around because I realize just how much I’ve learned and then I get to apply that knowledge to make changes to make things even better. It is such a good feeling!

Make sure to follow me because like I said, there’s so much more where this comes from!

If you were here way back when I was literally cutting fabric on the coffee table on my knees then you know! I didn’t always have a cute, aesthetic room to make bandanas in. When I first started out, I only spent on strictly the essentials: fabric, elastic, thread. And I believed in my core that I would grow. I knew I wouldn’t give up, only adapt when things weren’t working out as I expected.

Anyways, I know how hard it can be to fight the comparison game when we’re scrolling on social media. I hope this post reminds you that you don’t have to have everything perfectly figured out to start! Make sure you’re following me for more small business inspiration & tips!

Moral of the story is to NOT compare your day 1 to someone’s else’s year 4. Don’t even compare at all for that matter. It will quickly suck the joy out of your journey. We’re all on our own unique paths and everyone’s will look different!
