🧶 International Crochet Day at the Leesburg Public Library! 🎉
Celebrate International Crochet Day with a full day of crafting, learning, and community fun at the library, led by local fiber expert Paula Lee of Paula's Craft Shop. This event offers an interactive, educational experience packed with hands-on activities, expert instruction, and local community connections for all skill levels.
Here is what you can look forward to during the event:
🧶 Yarn Petting Zoo: Feel unique fibers spun from various animal furs and learn the best ways to use them in your projects.
✨ Workshops and Demos: Learn Tunisian crochet, discover yarn dyeing techniques, and watch a live weaving loom demonstration.
🔄 Yarn Swap: Bring your unused materials and trade them with fellow crafters.
🛒 Vendors: Browse and shop for beautiful yarn at the Crochet Aweigh booth.
🏆 Games and Prizes: Play crochet bingo, enter pattern giveaways, and win exciting raffle prizes donated in part by Gary Lee Sligh Fabric Arts.
