After multiple quality problems, delivery issues and constant cost increases I've finally decided to invest in a printer upgrade and start printing may own parts again rather than relying on a printing service. The PA12 nylon and MJF printer were amazing, but It got to the point that it wasn't good enough to justify the cosntant inventory delays and having to raise prices at least 2-3 times a year. With that said I would like to reintroduce the part that started it all, the GWRC LCG set. There have been a couple of changes and while it's not as nice of a finish as the PA12, PETG-GF still looks and feels great. As a bonus, it's also 30% lighter and just as strong. That means even better weight distrobution. Honestly, it only saved a total of 13 grams, but that's all from the top of the chassis and every bit counts right? Other changes include removing the wire routing for the servo. While it worked well, it admittedly, caused some issues with larger batteries staying on the tray and made it much tougher to get a clean print on a traditional 3D printer. I have also added a rear limit strap mounting point and will be incluing more straps to help dial in the suspension if needed. Finally the biggest change will be the price. With everything getting more expensive, it feels good to say the price will be going down quite a bit. My goal was always to keep this set affordable and more cost effective than changing the entire chassis. With the recent price increses due to the constantly increasing production costs I was getting to a point where I didn't feel that was the case any longer. Now, however, the kit will meet that goal. I know this is a long post, but I feel it's needed. A new install video will be going up very soon. I just have to finish up the editing. If you're interested in grabbing a set they available now on my Etsy store. grizzlyworksrc.com. The first 20 sets sold will include a free set of side trays. No need to add them to the cart, they are already packed in with the LCG sets. Thank you to everyone that has been part of this journey over the last 6 years. It's been awesome so far and I'm looking forward to many more.
