June 6th, 1944 - D-Day. Allied troops storm the beaches of Normandy on what General - later, President - Eisenhower calls “The Great Crusade” to liberate Europe from N**i tyranny.
June 6th, 2026… 82 years later. Any 18-year-old boy who survived the hail of shot and shell that day - and the steady march of time since - has now turned 100. But as this “Greatest Generation” passes into the pages of history, their accomplishments are not forgotten, and their legacy lives on. We owe them the very world we live in.
June 6th, 2019 - a Virginia property management company hands over the keys of #29 Catoctin Circle to a pair of starry-eyed, inexperienced hopefuls who think they can carve out a better kind of game store in this little corner of that world. They are undercapitalized, understaffed, and totally unprepared for what the cosmos will throw at them. Statistically, they will fail within their first year. But then, something completely unexpected happens; the most amazing, enviable community of players and customers begin to rally around this anomalous little speck on the tumultuous face of Northern Virginia, plant their flags firmly in the earth, and cry “here we are, here we remain!”
June 6th, 2026 - Creative Pursuit Games, Inc. turns seven. Life is very strange - but sometimes, quite wonderful.
From the bottom of our hearts, we truly appreciate each and every one of you who has helped make this little community what it is today. Thank you, everyone, for being AWESOME with us 🫡
