MAD KATZ Absolute TANK from Washington, DC! 🔥🐟

This beast put my Mad Katz Puzzle Rod to the test, and it performed exactly the way you’d expect. Plenty of power, sensitivity, and backbone when it counted. Watching that rod load up and feeling the fight from start to finish is what it’s all about.

Washington, DC has produced some incredible fish for me over the years, and this one is definitely one I’ll never forget. Big fish, heavy runs, and another awesome memory made with Mad Katz gear.

Big shout out to Catch The Fever for reposting my monster flathead catfish!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the support you’ve shown me over the years. Being featured by a page that has inspired so many anglers means a lot. It’s been an incredible journey chasing catfish, learning new waters, and making memories along the way.

Made the trip to Lake Aldred and found a few flatheads willing to bite in broad daylight. Put some solid fish in the boat and enjoyed a beautiful day on the water. I’ll take a daytime flathead bite like that any day. 🎣🐟

Crazy how things work out sometimes. I was on the Upper Potomac the other night and had run out of the bait I needed. Two anglers rolled up, hooked me up with some bait, and within minutes I landed a tank. They even helped me net it. Right after they left, I landed an even bigger one.

Big shoutout to Isaiah and his buddy. Without them showing up, these fish probably never would have happened.

Just a reminder—treat people with respect when you’re out on the water. You never know who you’re going to meet or how a simple act of kindness can change someone’s entire trip. Grateful for the good people I’ve been meeting lately.
