Absolutely unreal night on the Upper Potomac with my brother TJ. After putting in countless hours, grinding through tough conditions, and chasing this goal for a long time… I finally landed my NEW PB flathead catfish FROM THE BANK! 🐟🔥

This fish did not come easy. Had to earn every second of this one. Long nights, heavy currents, patience, dedication, and never giving up finally paid off in a massive way. There’s nothing like hearing that clicker scream and watching a true giant start peeling drag in the dark. Absolute adrenaline rush from start to finish.

Big shoutout to TJ for being there to witness this moment with me. Nights like this are what it’s all about.

Wanted to go play in the rain yesterday and ended up catching this really nice channel catfish down in southern Maryland. 🎣🌧️

This fish absolutely crushed a humongous piece of eel and put up a great fight. Sometimes the best fishing days happen when the weather says to stay home. Definitely glad I made the trip.

Took a quick little trip to the Shenandoah River before work to see if all this rain might turn on the channel catfish bite. Got a couple solid hits and ended up meeting this little guy right here. He had chicken gizzards and chicken livers for breakfast, we took our picture together, and now everything is splendid. 🎣🐟

Sometimes an hour by the river is all you need.

This is how we put flatheads on the boat during the daytime 😎🎣 Love seeing them hit the deck in broad daylight. Nothing like chasing giants when the sun’s still up.

Nothing beats time on the Susquehanna chasing flatheads with Frankie. Slid out for a short daytime run because Mike wanted to see if he could get some daytime flatheads on the river, and the bite definitely showed up. Solid little trip on the water. Hooked on Catfish 🎣
