Help us honor our hero’s ! Come out and join us as we hang the banners of our hero’s !
We’ve been receiving many inquiries about when the Veteran Banners will be going up, and we’re excited to share that beginning Monday, the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce board members and volunteers will be out at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds placing the Veteran Banners along the fence line for families and our community to enjoy. 🇺🇸
Traditionally, these Veteran Banners have been displayed on poles throughout our community. Unfortunately, this year we were unable to secure placement approval for the previously used locations.
However, we are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to combine this special tribute with both the 2026 Beauregard Watermelon Festival and Memorial Day weekend at the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds.
We extend a special thank you to the Beauregard Parish Fairgrounds for their continued partnership and support of both the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce and the Beauregard Watermelon Festival. We are proud to provide a place where families can gather to honor and remember the men and women who have served our country.
We encourage everyone to stop by, take photos, and honor the military men and women represented on these banners. This is such a special opportunity to celebrate the service and sacrifice of our loved ones right here in our community.
The banners will remain on display throughout the 2026 Beauregard Watermelon Festival and until shortly after Memorial Day, giving everyone plenty of opportunities to visit and show their support.
Normally, this is something our board and volunteers quietly handle behind the scenes, but this year we are truly in need of additional volunteer help to get these banners hung. With over 250 banners to place, we would greatly appreciate anyone willing to lend a hand and don’t worry, we already have the zip ties ready to go!
