Christmas only a month away. Goodness where does the time go? People so busy, bells ringing in front of every store, Red Kettles sitting out for donations for the less fortunate. Salvation Army is doing a good job of helping a lot of people that need it. At least most of your donations do not go to the administration, like a whole lot of other charities do. I only donate to the Salvation Army at Christmas time. I know that most of the help I give gets to where it is intended to go and not into someone else pockets. I do not mind sparing a few dollars to help at this time of the year. A lot of people do a lot to help others. Folks just make sure you give to the charities that actually do, what they are there for, to do. Check their websites out and any other way you can, check them out. Everyone, have fun getting ready for Christmas. Be happy, Be helpful and love your😊 neighbor as well as your family and friends.

I am having a nostalgic week thinking about my family members who have passed away and have birthdays this week. Two of them. My Daddy who would have been 111 on Sept 23rd and my brother who would be 76 on Sept 25th. My sister who is still here also has a birthday this week, she will be 79. We are all getting up in age. Seems like the months and years just fly by so quickly. I am just thinking about how much I miss these family members who all left too soon.

It is to bad that I was not able to get out and promote it at the time. I think it would have done well. That is a drawback for first time authors without connections or notoriety.

A male friend got one of my books last week. He went home and read it in one day. He told me it was really well written and was a very good book. Said he thought it was well done. That is what I get from people who do read it. I am so glad that people do enjoy it when they read it. Makes me feel good. I have had a lot of good comments about it.
