So thankful and richly blessed we are able to be continue bringing these lovely blooms to West Shore Farmers Market.
We had an incredible storm Wednesday evening and gather over 3” of rain in a short night. The wind with its intense speed and pounding gusts of the rain,left us in complete awe of our Wonderful Creator and his majesty!
Wee hours in the morning hearing the thunderstorm absolutely rumble and the lightning flashing so brilliant,you blinked at the sharpness.
Our thoughts promptly travelled out to the gardens-
Will the flowers actually survive? The water pressure with the creek wrapping around us- Will the creek overflow and take the entire field?
It’s the true beauty of working with nature, we are only the gardeners of the plants. There was lots of standing water and plants no longer showed smiling faces.Hanging heads and snapped off blooms.Trails and rows looked like a mad mess. It was truly a sight of awe and astonishment.
Trying to be patient and let the water level lower till we can work again in the gardens. Till then we will be praising Jesus for his protecting hand over family,friends,and love ones. Thanking him for every bloom he blessed us with still standing♥️

There was once a time we questioned whether dahlias are worth growing space.The maintenance,pests,fungus,and heavy staking of this plant often made us wonder if they were worth the effort.

Then we got bitten by the dahlia bug-and once you fall in love with dahlias, there’s no turning back!

This photo was taken in the garden the other evening.In the quiet beauty of nature,the blooms glowed in the fading night.The fleeting season makes us treasure each blooms petal closely.

Stop by this Labor Day weekend to take home these spectacular blooms and share these special petals with friends,family and guests.
