We are now using laser checks and will soon be using windowed envelopes to speed up our check writing night. With the eliminations of envelopes we need to have a new way to identify your drop-off items. There is a new sheet that is numbered 1 to 25 for you to list your items for drop-off; by the en

d of February you will be required to use this form for all drop-offs. Forms can be picked up at the store or email us at: [email protected] and I will send you a read only file to print from your computer. NO DROP-OFF DAYS FOR 2013

Made my chemo appointment on 2/4/26 and had a good time! I haven't looked at my blood work yet but will do it today or tomorrow. 3/3/26 is my next appointment and I will see the Doctor and see how things are going. I miss "The Shopper" every day. I had the best customers and consignors! I miss everyone and would like you to know I am feeling well! We made it through the Holidays but don't forget about the ones coming up! October was a good month for me. Blood pressure has been under control, diabetes under control, kidney function is better than a person my age and my cancer is dormmate. I'm still feeling weak and my balance is only fare. God willing, I will live longer than predicted, which I like that idea.

Well, it has been some time since I posted anything. I've received chemo every 28 days and will keep it up until I'm told it isn't working. Chemo is working very well and I'm happy with my new normal. I'm very happy to have met so many wonderful people at the store and I miss everyone. Closing the store was very hard and I miss it every day. I will try to keep everyone posted as things change. Thanks to everyone. Pat

The Thrifty Shopper has been close for; I can't remember how long. I still see and talk to people I met from the Shopper and that is a blessing. I made it through my bone marrow transplant and am on a 28-day chemotherapy routine till? I am so grateful for the memories! Thanks

This is me and my family! I made it through the transplant, and I am getting better every day! Hoping God gives me a fair amount of time here to enjoy, not only the family but everyone else I know and meet. Thanks to everyone who has been keeping an eye on me.

The day has come, and I've tried to put it off as long as possible. It's our last day and I'm not looking forward to the end of the day. We will miss all of the friends in Harrisburg, and we are not looking forward to retirement. Mom and Judy are here today to help say goodbye! Please stop in and say goodbye! The time has come for us to sell the Thrifty Shopper. My cancer is taking up too much of my time and the "Shopper" is a jealous mistress. Downtown Harrisburg is growing with the colleges and apartments that have been opening, an aggressive owner can make money.
