In the process of redoing 2 plaques. Each plaque takes 1 hrs 40 min to engrave. Add in the time to design & layout, run a test card for engraving settings, run a sample, custom make wooden frames, glue up, sand, paint & finish, then assemble. Now add the cost of materials and dont forget the electricity cost...walla! What's your time worth?

Testing out some simple ideas on Hobby Lobby eggs. We have an egg eater in our coop! I guess I'll try the rotary next to get a better scale on the images & text.

Finally a little break from the winter weather and we got to enjoy some creativeness. These old wooden shelves were destined for firewood in an outdoor wood boiler. As soon as I saw them, I knew they'd make for a nice background/base layer.

Its been a busy winter with plowing and keeping the Homestead warm, but we still get a few laser projects in.

Here's a couple of dedication plaques for the Lavalley Rec Center. The 2 tone acrylic takes a bit to dial in but with a few tricks up our sleeves, we nailed it!
