Lionfish ROAR at the Topeka Library!

We had an amazing time presenting to kids at the Topeka Library as part of their summer ROAR theme!

Together, we learned what the word invasive means, discovered some incredible lionfish facts, and played interactive games that showed why lionfish can become such a big problem in the Atlantic Ocean when they have very few natural predators.

The kids also learned that people can make a difference by protecting native habitats, never releasing aquarium animals into the wild, and supporting responsible efforts to manage invasive species.

Thank you to the Topeka Library for inviting us to share our love of aquatic life and ocean conservation with such a curious and enthusiastic group of young learners!

The next adventure is officially underway!

Two large pallets carrying a beautiful 220-gallon reef aquarium are loaded up and headed south. Next week, 4 members of the Picasso Exotic Aquatics team will meet the shipment in Tampa to install this incredible aquarium in our client’s new home.

From Kansas City to Florida, we’re bringing the vision to life—one carefully packed pallet at a time.
