⭐Wine of the Week⭐
A Splash of Pink from the Pacific Northwest;
the true story of "Making Lemonade out of Lemons"!

Why “Lemonade”? Born during Oregon’s challenging 2020 wildfire vintage, winemaker Brianne Day turned adversity into opportunity—making lemonade out of lemons and creating this bright, refreshing 100% Pinot Noir rosé.
Rather than abandon the fruit that vintage, she pressed the Pinot Noir gently and made it into a rosé, limiting extraction from the skins and avoiding any smoke taint.
Et, voilà!
Now in it's 6th vintage, this rosé has become one of her most popular wines 😻

🍷 Wine of the Week: 15% off
'Lemonade' Rosé

Our Wine of the Week is Brianne Day’s “Lemonade” Rosé (https://darebottleshop.square.site/product/lemonade-brianne-day-wines/775) , a joyful, thirst-quenching little reminder that there’s still plenty of summer left to sip.

Made by Oregon winemaker Brianne Day, Lemonade is bright, juicy and wonderfully refreshing, with crunchy red fruit, citrusy zip and a mouthwatering, dry finish. It’s the kind of bottle that practically begs for a sunny afternoon, something salty to snack on, and absolutely no particular occasion.

Why we love it
100% Pinot Noir from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, 'Lemonade' Rosé is bright, dry and refreshing, with notes of raspberry, pink grapefruit, Meyer lemon and juicy melon, balanced by lifted florals and a mineral finish.
A vibrant, easygoing expression of cool-climate Oregon Pinot Noir - in pink!

This week, the Berkshires comes together in celebration of music, culture, and community—and we can't imagine a better way to enjoy it all than with beautiful music, good friends, and a great bottle of wine.

🎻 We The People: Community in the Berkshires

It’s a particularly meaningful weekend here in the Berkshires as Yo-Yo Ma’s 'We The People: Our Shared Past, Present, and Future' brings a week of concerts, conversations, and community gatherings to Tanglewood and communities throughout the region.

Curated by Yo-Yo Ma, the week invites us to think about our shared history, our relationship to one another and the land we share, and the role each of us can play in building a hopeful future.

From gatherings and performances to conversations and music, We The People is a wonderful reminder of what makes this place so special: people coming together to listen, learn, celebrate, and share.
..And really, isn't that what a good bottle of wine is for, too?

🌎 A World of Wine, A Local Community

Whether you're headed to Tanglewood, exploring one of the many We The People events around the Berkshires, gathering with friends for dinner, or simply enjoying a quiet summer evening at home, we hope you'll make time to connect.

Open a bottle. Pull up a chair. Invite someone in.

Because community doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes, it starts with a simple pour. 🥂

Come see us this weekend!

Four Wines. Four Stories. One Great Afternoon.
1–4 PM |8.8.26

Some of the best conversations start with a shared bottle. This weekend, we're thrilled to welcome back our friend—and one of our favorite wine educators—Jeff Slavin of Hangtime Wine Co. for an afternoon of discovery.

Jeff has assembled a lineup that travels from the mountains of South Africa to the rolling hills of Southern France, showcasing four distinctive wines that overdeliver in both character and value. This is a tasting you won't want to miss!

Jeff will be be pouring:

🍾 Domaine de Martinolles 'Le Berceau' Blanquette de Limoux
Limoux, France
Long before Champagne became famous, sparkling wine was being made in Limoux. Crafted primarily from Mauzac with Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc, Le Berceau is bright, lively, and wonderfully refreshing, with notes of green apple, citrus blossom, and a delicate brioche finish. It's the kind of bottle that instantly elevates a picnic—or simply celebrates the weekend.

🥂 HER Chenin Blanc
Adama Wines | Western Cape, South Africa
Fresh, textured, and beautifully expressive, this Chenin Blanc offers vibrant citrus, white peach, ripe pear, and a subtle mineral edge. Produced by Adama Wines, the HER label celebrates the women who help shape South African wine, with a portion of proceeds supporting female empowerment initiatives. Delicious wine with an inspiring story.

🌸 Kumusha Rosé of Cinsault
Tinashe Nyamudoka | South Africa
One of our favorite rosés of the season. Made from old-vine Cinsault, Kumusha is elegant rather than overtly fruity, balancing wild strawberry, watermelon, fresh herbs, and crisp acidity. Dry, refreshing, and endlessly food-friendly, it's exactly what summer in the Berkshires tastes like.

🍷 Raincatcher Red
Longridge Wine Estate | Stellenbosch, South Africa
A beautifully balanced red that punches well above its price point. Expect layers of dark berries, plum, gentle spice, and savory earthiness, with silky tannins that make it equally enjoyable on its own or alongside grilled meats, burgers, or hearty summer fare. A versatile bottle you'll find yourself reaching for again and again.

⭐Wine of the Week⭐
Catch the Flavor of Summer
with Catch & Release 'Northern Lights' Syrah

🍷 Wine of the Week: 15% off
Where Freshness Meets Power : Northern Lights by Catch & Release Wines

Every now and then, a wine stops you in your tracks.
Northern Lights is one of those bottles.

Crafted from cool-climate Syrah on California's Sonoma Coast, this is a beautiful reminder that Syrah doesn't have to be heavy or jammy. Instead, it leans into freshness, perfume, and savory complexity—offering layers of blackberry, cracked black pepper, violets, smoked herbs, and a subtle mineral edge. Silky and energetic, it's equally at home with grilled lamb, roasted mushrooms, burgers fresh off the grill, or simply enjoyed as the evening cools down.

Catch & Release is a passion project by husband-wife team Beno & Monica, focused on small-production wines that celebrate vineyard character and restraint rather than excess. Northern Lights captures everything we love about modern California Syrah: vibrant fruit, freshness, and remarkable drinkability.

Why we love it
🍇 Cool-climate Sonoma Coast Syrah
🌿 Blackberries, violets, pepper & savory herbs

⛰️ Founded in 1971 on Spring Mountain, Smith-Madrone is one of Napa Valley’s pioneering family-run estates, known for small-production, estate-grown wines with freshness, structure, and a true sense of place.

Our inventory is very limited. If Smith-Madrone is on your list—or you simply love discovering special Napa wines—come by and grab a bottle while we have them 🥂🍷✨

Smith-Madrone Winery & Vineyards Vineyard Road

🍋 2019 Smith-Madrone Riesling

Bright • Mineral • Age-worthy

One of Smith-Madrone’s signature wines and a particularly compelling expression of California Riesling. High-elevation vineyards give this wine beautiful freshness and mineral character, with citrus, floral notes, and a wonderfully textured palate.

🍐 2021 Smith-Madrone Chardonnay

Elegant • Textural • Mineral

A mountain Chardonnay with plenty of personality. Think citrus, ripe orchard fruit, floral notes, subtle nuttiness, and vibrant acidity, all wrapped in a beautifully structured, restrained style. Recent reviews have praised its combination of texture, freshness, and distinctive mountain character.

🍷 2021 Smith-Madrone Cabernet Sauvignon

Classic • Structured • Savory

This is Napa Cabernet for those who love freshness and complexity alongside structure. Expect red and dark fruit, cedar, herbs, pepper, and beautifully integrated tannins, with the acidity and elevation of Spring Mountain keeping everything wonderfully balanced.

Smith-Madrone: Mountain Wines with History, Character & Staying Power

Meet One of Napa’s Great Independents

Every once in a while, we get our hands on wines that make us especially excited to share them with you.

This is one of those times.

We’re thrilled to have three special bottles from Smith-Madrone Vineyards & Winery, one of Napa Valley’s pioneering family-run mountain estates,
in stock right now:

✨ 2019 Riesling • 2021 Chardonnay • 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon ✨

Founded by Stuart Smith in 1971, Smith-Madrone sits high atop Spring Mountain above St. Helena, where the Smith brothers began planting Chardonnay, Riesling, and Cabernet Sauvignon in 1972. Today, the family continues to make estate-grown wines from their steep, dry-farmed mountain vineyards.

What makes Smith-Madrone so special is its wonderfully old-school approach. The winery produces fewer than 4,000 cases annually, using traditional techniques and allowing the character of the mountain site—and each vintage—to shine through.

These are Napa wines with restraint, freshness, structure, and a true sense of place—a refreshing departure from the bigger, more opulent style often associated with Napa Valley.

Three Vintages. One Extraordinary Estate.
