Every Saturday in July, Markie from Blooming Forest is going to be popping up in the greenhouse with all of her gorgeous blooms for YOU to come and create your own bouquet!
When Markie told me her idea I couldn’t have been more excited. Markie helped build the greenhouse with her husband (my best cousin) Alex and have been growing beautiful flowers for several seasons.
Markie is a total gem (and my best friend) and this opportunity is so special.
In her imagination- this is the perfect date idea, come have lunch and make a bouquet💖
In my imagination- this is perfect for anyone!
Make a bouquet for your kitchen table, your neighbor, your mom, your friend… We think the world just needs a lot more local flowers and connection.
We’ll also have the fridge stocked with local produce and eggs so in your imagination it could even be a grocery trip!
Call it whatever you want but I’m calling it a blessing- My life is immeasurably better when I’ve got fresh flowers on my table!
