There was hardly any beach at all! The waves & foam were coming up to the walkways. The wind was wild! Going to head out tomorrow, possibly to Henlopen, to see how it’s going.

All done and ready to go. Handmade using polymer clay and lots of whimsy.

It was a bit drizzly, so we couldn’t do our painting session. We had a lovely walk through the woodland, followed by some barefoot on the beach…then home to cook the bread I made before we went out. Fab afternoon!

I have mountains of laundry to do; the sink is full of dishes to wash; I need to vacuum; the ‘big rug’ needs a deep clean; I need to finish painting the youngest sunshine’s bathroom; start painting my bathroom…I’m not even going to talk about the pit of hopeless, chaotic despair that is my craft room 🙄

It’s a good thing that the isn’t until November! It’ll take me at LEAST that long to make my mind up what to make and then I’ll need to make it…and decorate it…then there’s my hair…and my headwear…and jewelry…oooo and footwear! 🫣🧝‍♀️ 🙄

3 of my 4 Sunshines have birthdays within 2 weeks! This is for Sunshine number 3. They have always loved the moon & stars & night skies; a special flower for them is a we’ll see how it turns out!

I made these before bed last night & they’re waiting to go into the oven. I think we’ll start with the cinnamon raisin for brunch; the rolls later with the bean burgers we have yet to make; and the others for snacksies throughout the day!
