INTRODUCING THE NEW 2026 SANDY DELAWARE ORNAMENT!
The Jellyfish!

This year’s Sandy Delaware Ornament was inspired by a very noticeable part of our 2026 beach season—the jellyfish! The Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean have seen more jellyfish than usual, making them an unexpected part of many Delaware beachgoers’ summer memories. While they may have made enjoying the surf a little more challenging, we decided to turn them into a beautiful Delaware beach keepsake!

Since 2015, Sand N Stones has introduced a new Sandy Delaware Ornament each year. Created through a collaboration between Michele Buckler and local artisan Beachscapes by Tracey, each ornament is handcrafted with genuine Delaware beach sand. No two are exactly alike!

Whether you're a lifelong Delawarean, a seasonal visitor, a beach lover, or simply someone with special memories of Delaware's coastline, Sandy Delaware is more than an ornament—it's a little piece of the beach to take home.

Available at Sand N Stones on Front Street in Historic Downtown Lewes or Shop online: SandNStones. com

A Little Purple Magic from Labradorite

This beautiful one-of-a-kind Purple Labradorite pendant was handcrafted by Michele J. Buckler of Sand N Stones using 14K gold-filled and Argentium Sterling Silver wire.

When the light catches this Labradorite, beautiful purple, blue, green, and golden flashes appear—revealing the natural phenomenon known as labradorescence. Every flash is different, making this stone truly one of a kind.

Michele calls her technique “wire framing” because Mother Nature creates the artwork—she simply puts a frame around it!

A Little Piece of Ancient Australia, right here in Lewes

I wire wrapped this beautiful Australian Peanut Wood fossil, estimated to be over 100 million years old, in 14K gold-filled and Argentium sterling silver wire.

The unique “peanut” markings were created by ancient marine organisms and preserved through fossilization. Every piece is truly one of a kind!

Mother Nature did the artwork—I just put a frame around it!
