Another large project under my belt, this time for my other nephew who is Dino-obsessed. The prompt: Indominus Rex.

Was I disappointed that the super light grey yarn I wanted was out of stock? Absolutely. I’m missing Jo Ann Fabrics so badly these days. Did I want to make a giant dinosaur out of white yarn for a kiddo? No, that sounds like a nightmare for parents. So I went with the lightest grey yarn I had and hoped the details would tell the story for me.

And he loved it! And so did my youngest. So now I’ve been requested to make a RED one for him.

Do you have a kiddo that loves dinosaurs? Place an order today! I ended up changing the pattern I had for this dinosaur to make him an Indominus but I could make it as a T-Rex, or a velociraptor, and eventually I plan on adapting it to create a Mongo (IYKYK and you are my people).

The only thing bigger than my ever growing TBR on my mantle is this giant Anchor Octopus I made with a pattern from Humble Child Co! It is so soft and I love the colors.

As soon as I saw Theresa’s Crochet Shop (one of my favorite pattern makers) had released this pattern I knew I had to get it. This adorable kitten can be customized in so many ways! You can change his color, his pajamas, his blanket, etc. you can have him with or without pajamas, eye mask, etc. How cute is he? Doesn’t he make you want to take a little cat nap?

Some of you who have been following me for awhile know that every year for my nephew’s birthday he asks me to crochet him a new Pokemon. This year’s choice was a challenge but I’m so pleased with the results! It’s Ash Greninja!
