Brushstrokes Gallery, Art Supplies, and Framing Family owned independent art shop. 36+ years. A real art store. 😊 Lots of cool stuff! The comments we here from people is "Wow a real art store".

We live in a very artsy college town that we love. We also get a lot of travelers who stop by every time they drive thru our area. The other comment we here is they feel like they are in a candy shop for artists and yes they are smiling as they wander thru our maze of a store. Often we have a shop dog on duty. Very dog friendly- cats too but they tend to be homebodies. We are bigger than we look!

Tiny California recap - soccer, soccer, and basketball - great eateries - a fun puzzle - two fluffy dogs - great little shops including a mini castle coffee shop - unbelievable outdoor plants - an acorn woodpecker (more in stories) - a birthday party for Randy - and lots and lots of fun outdoor time. We are back in our “box” now as we call it. Shop was solidly busy yesterday. Here on this Saturday from 10:30 to 5. Peace out. ✌️ ❤️

California update will come later - still a bit groggy 🤣 . So instead - a color preview. Our shop is a lot about color. Yes - we are different than a lot of art shops or gifty places. We like to fill our nooks and crannies with all sorts of bright things. A shop trend now is to have that lovely minimalist look. That is not us. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Come poke around on this Friday 11 to 5 or on Saturday from 10:30 ish to 5. Shopdogs are back at it. Peace out. ✌️

Hello Farmers Market Wednesday. Tuesday was a wee bit pokey but new puzzle orders were checked in along other cool things. We continue to source from all over to ensure we have lots of treasures to choose from. The shortages and out of stocks are still real - so we like to have options. As Fall begins - we poked thru some of the history pics of our store. Building was built in 1835 - yes ! 1835! We started the shop sometime in October - maybe 1989 - maybe 1990…Across the street on the second floor 😱🤣 …moved to this spot in 1999 and in 2010ish took over the other side. And that is our happy little art shop story - or a least a bit of it. Open this week Tuesday to Saturday from 11 to 5. Peace out. ✌️

These little bird card holders 💕💕. Sweet stationery, little tins, mini card decks, rubber stamp sets, key ring journals, and washi tape. Cool! Yesterday was fun. Got hugs from a dear friend - our first teenage employee 😍 - saw another old friend yay! And met a sweet pooch. Laurie and Barbara worked hard to fit in all the new stuff. Lots of cool mugs and tea cups. Here on this Friday from 11 to 5. It is Bucknell Family Weekend so drive carefully. Peace out. ✌️

Fun, quirky, yet useful stuff. Cat mugs are presh, our beaded bracelet collection grows , who doesn’t need an orange tea mug with bag holder, sweet kitty coin purses (coins not included 🤣) , and a large collection of very reasonable journals.Three people mentioned buying for Christmas yesterday. Fun working with our two high schoolers in the afternoon. The energy!! 💕 Here on this Takeout Thursday from 11 to 5. Peace out. ✌️
