A Victorian Melody

I have had a couple of people tell me they heard that I no longer do fresh flowers. Well, I still do fresh flowers and will always do fresh flowers because I am a florist that does all kinds of flowers for every occasion. I take pride in the fact that so many families entrust me with their arrangements for their loved ones. We not only service the funeral homes here but also travel to other cities for my customers. I am proud of the fact that our flowers come off a refrigerated truck and not shipped in boxes or delivered in a hot van. I have always strived to have the best for my customers.
Now hopefully putting this rumor to bed I turn to the rumor of my retirement. I have no intention of retiring anytime soon. I love what I do and all my customers. As I have always said we florist don’t die we whither away. So I will continue to whither here enjoying my work and my wonderful customers, old and new🩷

One upon a time there was a little girl who dreamed of becoming a wife and Mother, she accomplished this at an early age and loved every minute of it. But then she felt she had too much time on her hands so her friend offered her a job in her flower shop. When her friend decided to sell the shop and she decided to buy it. That girl was me and I said this to tell you that I’ve always known my life was driven by God and without him I would be nothing. That shop that I bought blossomed into a life full of work and customers. Customers that I have always said were more than customers they are beloved friends. Never was this more evident than in these last few months with the loss of my Mother. To each and every one of you that has reached out in so many ways, I thank you. The love that I have felt has made this terrible time so much more bearable. I have worked and am still working on thank you notes so please forgive my lateness. I thank God for every one that he has placed in my life. Thank you all for the love.
