This is a Fenton Burmese glass pinch vase, hand painted by Pam Lunderman with the RARE "Muted Mums" pattern. It will sell with the original box, but the COA card inside is missing. The tag on the bottom of the box and the vase shows it is an authentic piece. Yes, the tag on the bottom is less than I'm asking, but the value has gone way up since its purchase over 20 years ago. I don't want to remove the sticker. This was a special gallery/catalog purchase not mass produced. I have it listed for $300, but offering it to my LOCAL followers for $275 before it moves to my booth, soon.

I am selling this amazing Fenton Folk Art painted rooster on a nest, with original packaging and COA. I currently have it on hand, at some point I will put it in my booth, but I'm giving all of my followers a chance to score this item for $250. As a long time eBay seller I've seen a lot of scams, and have been scammed. As a reseller, you need to be proactive when it comes to these situations. Keep your cool and don't panic because if you don't that is when things can go bad for you. Mail fraud is a common scam on online marketplaces. Keep records, show the scammer that you know the rules and policies of both eBay and the shipping carrier. In this case, I showed the tracking info, and also showed the signature on file for the pickup of the package. You can see the signature from the USPS website when the package is tracked and delivered. On the form, more information was given. In this case, the package was addressed properly, but the buyer changed the delivery instructions with the post office to have their package held. The scam, was trying to get me to believe that the package showed delivered, but no package. They thought that they could get a refund and have a free ring. That wouldn't have worked because if the package is delivered, and was truly a postal error, or package theft, the seller is cleared because on eBay, the rules state if the package was addressed correctly and shows delivered, the seller is in the clear and the buyer needs to file a claim with the local post office. The package was also insured. They then thought they could file a credit card fraud claim, but that also would not get them anywhere because I have all of our conversation stating they bought the ring, and again eBay has a sellers back when it comes to these claims. That is part of the selling fee we pay to ebay, protection against people claiming fraudulent credit card charges. I think the kicker is when I showed the buyer that I knew the USPS rules for pick up and that I found where they changed delivery instructions for postal hold. Be tough, be polite and do your research. I ended up getting positive feedback, but they had to add a jab saying that I didn't package well and paper was hanging out, which I know was just a remark because they are butt hurt because they didn't get a free gold ring. Be tough and keep a cool head, and know the rules and how to protect yourself.
